Modelling the figure: five decades of French sculpture

Lucina Ward, Curator, International Painting and Sculpture, explores representations of the figure by Rodin, Bourdelle, Lachaise and Maillol from the 1880s to 1940s.

Following the programs crêpes and mulled wine will be served in Gandel Hall.

Program will be moved to the James O Fairfax Theatre in the case of wet weather

ANUCES  has entered into an exciting new partnership with The National Gallery of Australia which will see a number of talks and lectures across 2015-2017. With the National Gallery's extensive holdings of European art, there are many stories to be told through the collection.

The lectures will focus on exploring the many connections between Australian and European history and culture and the Gallery's European art collection.
