Transport

Transport to and from the ANU is well serviced by air, rail and road.

 

Canberra Airport

Canberra Airport has direct flights from around Australia. Located in Canberra's east the airport is about a 10 minute drive from the City with a taxi fare of approximately $30-$40.

 

 

 

Canberra Train Station

The Sydney-Canberra route is also serviced by train. Canberra's train station is located in Kingston, outside of the City Centre. Action buses connect the train station to the city centre.

 

 

Bus Transport

Bus transport between Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne is regularly serviced by Murrays and Greyhound. Murrays express service departs Sydney's Central Station on the hour every hour, terminating at the Jolimont Centre in Canberra City.

Transport in and around Canberra is well-serviced by the Action bus network. Action buses accept both the pre-paid MyWay card and also cash fares.
