Emily Look commenced her PhD at the School of Politics and International Relations in February 2016. Her thesis will focus on political socialisation, attitudes and behaviour in post-communist states. Emily completed her Honours degree in Political Science at the University of Melbourne in 2014, having minored in German and spent a year at the Humboldt University of Berlin. She graduated with the Dwight Final Assessment Prize and attended the 2015 Undergraduate Awards in Dublin as a Highly Commended entrant.  

Emily's wider research interests include comparative political behaviour, European politics, public opinion and post-communist politics.
