The Australian Centre for Federalism is delighted to announce that International Association of Centers for Federal Studies (IACFS) has awarded this year’s Young Scholar Award for the best unpublished article or paper on an aspect of federalism to our very own Dr. Borui Song for his paper “Fiscal Federalism, Equalisation and Political incentives: Evidence from China”. As a winner of this prestigious award, Borui will travel to this year’s annual conference in Bilbao, Spain in October with the ACF’s Director Associate Professor Tracy B. Fenwick to present his paper to the IACFS members and be awarded his award by an International Jury of Federal Scholars from around the world.

Borui completed his PhD in the School of Politics and International Relations, CASS, in 2021.
