Australian Society for Quantitative Political science (ASQPS) provides a network for Australian political scientists who advance, use, and are generally interested in quantitative research methods, with special emphasis on supporting networking and training opportunities for PhD students and early career researchers.

Professor Sona Golder
The Pennsylvania State University
Sona Golder is a Professor of Political Science at The Pennsylvania State University. She is an expert in political institutions, in particular pre-electoral coalitions, government formation, government duration, and elections. Her research has been published in many of the discipline's leading journals, including the American Journal of Political Science, the British Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, and Political Analysis. Professor Golder is the co-editor for the British Journal of Political Science, an associate editor for Research & Politics, and is serving on the editorial boards for the American Political Science Review, Comparative Political Studies, and Political Science Research and Methods.
Call for Proposals (Due 1 June)
Call for papers: Submissions must be made online by June 1. Please submit your abstract here.
Call for panels: Please contact Svitlana Chernykh with a brief overview of the panel, a list of papers and authors, and a discussant. Panels should be structured around a theme and include 3-4 papers. Individual authors should also submit their abstracts as normal by the deadline.
Papers on any topic using any sort of quantitative method(s) of analysis are welcome.
