ANIP intern thanked in Federal Parliament
Thursday 10 July 2014

Ms Gai Brodtmann MP used a speech in Parliament last week to formally thank ANU student and intern Darian Clark.

Darian, who is studying a Master of Globalisation at the School of Politics and International Relations, spent 11 weeks in Brodtmann’s office as part of the Australian National Internships Program (ANIP).

Throughout his placement he worked on a research paper assessing the potential for an international agreement on cyberweapons as well as a number of other initiatives.

Brodtmann said she was lucky to have Darian in her office.

“Today is Darian’s last day, so I wanted to take this opportunity to thank him for his excellent work,” she said.

“To my fellow members, I strongly urge you to consider hosting an ANIP intern. It has been a really worthwhile program for us and I am looking forward to hosting more interns in the future.”
