John Minns awarded commendation from the ACT government
Tuesday 2 August 2022

Emeritus Professor John Minns was awarded a commendation at the 2022 Multicultural Awards ceremony on Tuesday 19 July 2022.

John was commended for being "a tireless and committed campaigner for refugees and the disadvantaged across Canberra over a long period of time, building the ability of ACT refugee community groups to inform the public of the issues they face."

The Multicultural Awards is an ACT government initiative that recognises the contributions and efforts of Canberrans who support and promote an inclusive and cohesive community.  The award also recognises those members of our community who are committed to increasing understanding of the benefits of multiculturalism across Canberra and the ACT region.
