What’s so disappointing about Australian political leadership?

On Thursday 15 February 2018 four distinguished panelists gathered to examine Australia's recent political leadership through the lense of rhetoric. The impetus for the discussion was the launch of Professor John Uhr and Dr. Adam Masters' recently published Leadership Performance and Rhetoric.

The four panelists were:

  • Professor John Hewson, Crawford School, former leader of the Liberal Party
  • Dr Andrew Leigh, Member for Fenner, House of Representatives
  • Dr Chris Wallace, National Centre of Biography
  • Assoc Professor Mary Walsh, University of Canberra
