ANU academics awarded for excellence

ANU Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Chubb has congratulated two ANU Academics who have been recognised for outstanding contributions to student learning in the 2010 Australian Awards for University Teaching.

One of these was Dr John Minns, Director of the Australian National Centre for Latin American Studies (ANCLAS) RSSS, in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences who has been recognised for his contribution to enhancing the quality of learning and teaching in higher education.

The other academic is Associate Professor Christian Lueck from the ANU Medical School in the ANU College of Medicine Biology and Environment.

The Awards will be presented in Canberra on 16 November 2010 by the Hon Chris Evans, Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Jobs and Workplace Relations.
