Renee commenced her PhD in 2023, focusing on gender equality and feminist advocacy at UN norm-building institutions. Considering from a feminist institutionalist perspective, she considers the interplay on progress and pushback.
Renee holds a Master of Arts (Women's Studies) from Flinders University, a Masters in Public Policy and Management from Monash University and Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of International Relations from La Trobe University. Renee has worked with the UNDP, Australian Public Service, development organisations and academia.
