Seminar on Gender-Sensitive Parliaments, European Parliament

Johanna Kantola, together with MEP Sirpa Pietikäinen, has organised a seminar on gender-sensitive parliaments for the European Parliament in Brussels on 30 January 2019. It will bring leading academic experts, including GenParlNet's Sarah Childs and Josefina Erikson, into dialogue with the parliament.

Topics include:

  • political groups and committees in the European Parliament,
  • mainstreaming gender into policy formation, and
  • parliamentary cultures and infrastructures:
