As we navigate an era of rapid political shifts and evolving public sentiments, the need for innovative and precise survey methods has never been more pressing. This one-day workshop, designed for advanced students and early career researchers, offers a comprehensive overview of survey methodologies and their critical role in interpreting political dynamics, behaviours, and democracy indicators. Join us to gain invaluable insights and hands-on experience in representative surveys, survey experiments and expert surveys.

Take this opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice, enhancing your research skills to contribute significantly to any field in political science, while supporting and advancing a diverse and dynamic academic community across Australia and beyond!

Organizers:

  • Dr Constanza Sanhueza Petrarca (ANU)
  • Dr Thiago Nascimento da Silva (ANU)

Presenters:

  • Professor Ben Goldsmith (ANU)
  • Dr Sarah Cameron (Griffith University)
  • Dr Max Groempring (Griffith University)

Submit your Expression of Interest by 6pm (AEST) on Friday 4 October 2024. Selected candidates will be notified via email by Thursday, 10 October.
