Dr Maria Maley was invited to give a keynote presentation at a meeting of the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (NSW Branch) on 18 September 2025, in the NSW Parliament.

Dr Maley's insightful presentation, ‘Women in parliament: managing difficult workplaces’, set the tone for a wide-ranging discussion about challenges faced by women parliamentarians and how we can work to change the culture of parliament, drawing on lessons from other countries.
