The School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) at RSSS recently hosted a panel discussion titled "End of an Era? The UK General Election of 2024." Held on Thursday 4 July, the event featured esteemed panellists: Prof. Ian McAllister (SPIR), Prof. Helen Sullivan (CAP), Dr. Charles Miller (SPIR), and Dr. Patrick Leslie (SPIR).

The discussion aimed to retrospectively examine developments in UK politics since 2010, assess the likely outcome of the election, and explore the challenges facing Sir Keir Starmer as Prime Minister.
